Ugo Cornia was born in Carpi on 6/7/65 and lives in Modena.

He has worked with Comix and Il Semplice, and is currently working with Il Caffé Illustrato and has published two books with Sellerio: Sulla felicità a oltranza, and Quasi amore. He doesn't like talking about his life as he feels it's immaterial. Indeed he feels his work, his taste and all that has happened to him are immaterial. However, out of formality, and preferring not to leave a blank space instead of the conventional things people say about themselves, a blank space could after all give rise to the same uneasiness as those short bursts of silence on television between one noise and the next, which leave us bewildered, awaiting the end of the world; so given all our misgivings about white and silence, he wrote this, which being written you may think says something when in truth it says nothing at all.
